Holiday shopping is never easy—especially for the football fan in your life. So here’s a special, football-themed gift guide to help ease the pain. Whether you’re looking for ideas for your wish list or desperately seeking the perfect gift for a friend or loved one, we’re sure you’ll find something great.
adidas originals x Manchester United – Adidas is celebrating its record-breaking sponsorship deal with Manchester United by giving fans what they want: An aptly-named collection (“ReUnited”) of throwback kits inspired by the Red Devils’ 1985 FA Cup-winning strip.
PSG x CIVISSUM Collection – PSG has had a number of fantastic collaborations this year, but this ready-to-wear apparel collection, developed with French brand CIVISSUM, is our favorite. The club’s values of “elegance, pride and commitment” are reflected in a line of hoodies, crewnecks and t-shirts that combine PSG Logos and the (slightly) altered JFK quote, “Ich Bin ein Parisian.”
Future Collective – The “Champions League Collection” is the first release from Future Collective, and we love it. It’s inspired by the rich tradition of European competition and the storied tournament’s five most successful clubs. The collection’s standout item is a cap collaboration with Ebbets Field Flannels. Also included are the “Stadia Series” crewneck sweatshirts and F.C. “Badge” T-shirts, which are made from quality weight cottons, and made in the U.S.A.
The Ringleaders ‘FIFA Tee’ – One of our favorite gear releases this year came from Montreal-based football collective Ringleaders FC. Simple, cheeky, and stylish all at once, the ‘FIFA tee’ is a solid addition to any football fan’s wardrobe.
adidas Originals ‘Beckenbauer Collection’ – Adidas gets another spot on the list with this incredible collection featuring two pairs of Superstars — black and grey — and a full line of apparel. The pieces offer subtle nods to Franz Beckenbauer’s time playing with Bayern Munich, the German national team, and the New York Cosmos.
Eight by Eight x World FC ‘Supporters’ Shirt’ – What apparel gift guide would be complete without the Eight by Eight supporters’ shirt? We started offering this piece last year, and it still makes the perfect gift, offering everything you love about the fit, feel, and durability of a vintage T-shirt.
Umbro ‘Pro Training’ Collection – The Pro Training collection remains one of our favorite drops of the year. Featuring training tops, replica jerseys, and sweatshirts, the collection is the retro revival ’90s football fans have been waiting for.
Official Club Apparel from World Soccer Shop – When shopping for a football fan, just about any piece of apparel with their favorite clubs logo on it will do. Just make sure you get the club right! For a quality collection of official club apparel—including t-shirts, sweatshirts and hats—be sure to check out our friends at World Soccer Shop.
Kits and Boots
Cult Kits x Box2Box – Like any self respecting football fans, we love retro gear, especially retro kits. Two of the most stylish digital football entities—Cult Kits and Box2Box — have come together to collect a fresh supply of beautiful kits of yesteryear. Luckily, for everyone but our wallets, they’re also available for purchase and make a great gift.
CR7 ‘Savage Beauty’ Collection – The new ‘Savage Beauty’ collection from Nike is one of our favorite recent boot drops. The boot is inspired by the Portuguese footballer’s home, the volcanic island of Madeira, and consists of a signature Superfly CR7, a low-top Vapor CR7, apparel, and a Nike Free Mercurial Superfly, each infused with a lava-inspired print. Of course, these boots don’t come cheap. For other, less-expensive options, head over to Soccer.com for the best selection of Nike, Adidas, and Puma boots around.
Dorothy Football Map – Lovers of history and football beware. UK-based studio Dorothy has created the Football Map, reimagining a space “loosely based on the area surrounding Parker’s Piece, a park in central Cambridge that is regarded as the birthplace of Association Football.” With over 500 names and iconic places referenced—from gigantic to tiny clubs—it’s a fantastically detailed trip down White Hart Lane and a marvel of imaginary cartography.
Eight by Eight prints – We love illustration—but sometimes it deserves more than the coffee table. Check out run of limited-edition prints of all the best personalities: Müller, Zlatan, Pirlo, Ozil, and more. We guarantee they’ll look good hanging on just about any wal
Books & Magazines
Das Reboot by Raphael Honigstein – Eight by Eight contributor Rafa Honigstein has penned one of the best football books of the year. Das Reboot looks back at the dreary days of German football in the ’90s and discovers the series of events and personalities responsible for its rise to the very top. Packed with exclusive interviews, Das Reboot makes for an insightful read—a quality gift for all football fans.

The 116-page edition is packed with interviews and photo series from Bled founder Nam Kunn’s visits to the playgrounds and stadiums of Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, and Myanmar.
Savil Rogue scarves – Savile Rogue produce high quality football scarves made out of 100% cashmere wool. The London-based company was founded to provide an alternative to the poor quality nylon scarves sold pretty much everywhere. No matter the club you support, Savile Rogue has likely got scarf for you—even you Tippeligaen fans in Norway!
Eight by Eight FC Badge – We’re excited to introduce the Eight by Eight FC badge — a special collaboration with our friends at Avery Dennison. The badge can be easily ironed onto your favorite shirt, hat, scarf, underwear, or dog sweater. However, the only way to get one of these limited-edition badges is to pick up a copy of issue 07.
AMO Custom Laces – AMO Customs is taking boot customization to the next level with its new line of laces and studs. We love the simple, striking design, which offers a fresh take on a diluted market. The laces and studs are engineered for performance, and boast superior grip in all conditions. But let’s be real, you’ll pick up a pair because they’re fire.
Storelli Protective Gear – Located in Brooklyn, New York, Storelli is the only brand exclusively dedicated to the design and manufacture of quality protective football gear. From their increasingly necessary ExoShield Head Guard, to the Body Shield Sliders, and the Body Shield Leg Guards, Storelli has you covered head-to-toe.
MLS Snapback from Mitchell and Ness – Good news for fans of Major League Soccer: Mitchell and Ness is now an official producer of league merchandise. This year we were treated to a whole line of snapbacks featuring all MLS clubs. We’re looking forward to seeing what else M&N has in store for us next year, but there’s already plenty of lids to choose from no matter who you support.
