Coming Out To Play, by Robbie Rogers
In February 2013, Los Angeles Galaxy winger Robbie Rogers made headlines when he became the first openly gay male athlete in a top professional sports league in America. In one fell swoop, in an open letter on his website, Rogers shared his sexuality and announced his retirement from football, in anticipation of “the circus” that would follow him. However, it didn’t last long: Rogers returned to the Galaxy later in the year, citing the positive response to his decision to go public.
The experience inspired Rogers to pen his memoir, Coming Out To Play, a crucial look at the adversity faced by LGBT athletes.

Wear Marley track jacket
Bob Marley and football, what more could you ask for? When I first saw this product and went to the showroom, I was like a kid in a candy store. Growing up, Bob and reggae were a big part of my life, so the combination with soccer, made into stylish and quality clothing, was almost too good to be true.
Icon track jacket: One of the first pieces I saw which blew my mind was a remake of the jacket worn by Bob in numerous iconic pictures of him playing the beautiful game that made him so happy. The quality and price point are right at $70.
Also available is the vintage track jacket —which is a more colorful option in the same style and fit.
