A lot of good has resulted in the overlap between football and fashion—and one such thing is South Korean brand FC Nivelcrack. The Seoul-based streetwear brand is inspired by football culture, something that is evident in the name “Nivelcrack,”which roughly translates to “top level (crack) football player in Spanish” (Why is a South Korean brand using a Spanish name? We’ll chalk it up to globalization and the recent dominance and influence of the Spanish national team).
The brand’s logo uses the acronym FCN in a club crest-esque logo. Like many brands in the streetwear scene, Nivelcrack has put an emphasis on high quality products, and embodying the fusion football and fashion.
Nivelcrack’s first collection features legendary players’ nicknames, such as Il Fenomeno and Maestro, which adorn long-sleeved tees, hoodies, and jerseys. Launching on January 25, the collection is low-profile, yet clean and a must cop.
